City Council is comprised of six members who meet monthly on the second Thursday at the Crestview Hills City Building at 7:30 PM.

The City of Crestview Hills is a Mayor-Council form of government with a Mayor-appointed professional City Administrative Officer and City Clerk/Treasurer. An Administrative Assistant, Public Works Director and auxiliary personnel have also been hired to better serve the City's needs.

Council members run for election every even-numbered year and their term commences January 1 of the following odd-numbered year to December 31 of the next even numbered year. For example: Elections for council will be taking place in November, 2006. The term for those six persons elected in November, 2006 will be January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008.

The Mayor runs for election every four years, with the election taking place in an even-numbered year. Elections for Mayor will be taking place in November, 2006. The term for the next Mayor will be January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010.
