The City of Crestview Hills is a Mayor-Council form of government with a Mayor-appointed professional City Administrative Officer and Finance Officer/Treasurer. A City Clerk, Public Works Supervisor and auxiliary personnel have also been hired to better serve the City's needs.
Council members run for election every even-numbered year and their term commences January 1 of the following odd-numbered year to December 31 of the next even numbered year. For example: Elections for council took place in November, 2010. The term for those six persons elected in November, 2010 will be January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2012.
The Mayor runs for election every four years, with the election taking place in an even-numbered year. Elections for Mayor took place in November, 2010. The term for the Mayor will be January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2014.
