- Maintains and researches as necessitated health, dental, general liability, building, and fleet insurances.
- Advises Mayor and City Administrator on financial and legal responsibilities, annual legislative changes, and annual GAAP and GASB updates.
- Negotiates rates of returns on investments.
- Performs daily, monthly, and annual accounting duties including those related to the audit process and any corresponding financial reports.
- Partners with the Kenton County Fiscal Court for information regarding domiciled or transient businesses and related business taxes.
- Designs and maintains the City website
- Handles citizen concerns and delegates or cooperates with other employees and municipal agencies to resolve
- Explores training opportunities for staff.
- Investigates, coordinates, and provides support for recreational activities.

- Handles building and zoning requests, correspondence, and permits as well as Board of Adjustment requests
- Prints tax bills, receives, and posts payments, and monitors real estate tax collection
- Receives, date stamps, and distributes mail
- Deposits incoming receipts
- Represents the City in the Kenton County Dog Authority
- Notarizes items for the City and residents
- Posts complaints from citizens and begins resolvation process
- Coordinates sign ups for recreational events
- Responds to citizens, vendors, developers, and other government officials via telephone and fax and directs inquiries to appropriate departments
- Substitutes for City Clerk at council and other meetings when required
- Assists where needed in meetings and recreational activities
