CITIZENS EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING PROGRAM

The Fort Mitchell Fire Department in cooperation with the Kenton County Emergency Management/Homeland Security office will be hosting a Citizens Emergency Response Team training program. The (CERT) training will be held at the Fort Mitchell Fire Department each Wednesday evening from 7:00pm – 10:00pm starting September 1, 2004, and will last for eight weeks.

The training is free of charge and will consist of the basic use of fire extinguishers, emergency first aid, and other related topics. The concept of the program is to prepare our residents in what they can do for themselves in the event of a major disaster before help arrives.

The class size will be limited to the first 25 people. Residents of Lakeside Park and Crestview Hills, cities served by the Fire Department, are also invited to attend. Since seating is limited, please R.S.V.P. early!

If interested, please call the Fort Mitchell City Building (331-1212) between 8:00AM & 4:30PM, Monday through Friday and leave your name, address & phone number.
