The
Eagle's ViewText Box: Residents of Crestview Hills:

During the coming months, the City of Crestview Hills’ Recreation Committee has a few activities planned. In addition to four Cincinnati Reds games, and a day trip to Renfro Valley to see Carl Hurley on Friday November 5, we are excited to host our third annual Crestview Hills City Picnic and Golf Outing, which will be held at Summit Hills Country Club, on Tuesday August 10th. We had a great turnout last year and hope to have even more residents and businesses participate this year.

Don’t forget to treat Dad to a special day of fun at our seventh Father’s Day at Kings Island, SundayJune 20. Ticket price includes a great buffet meal in the picnic grove as well as all day admission to the regular park and Crocodile Dundee’s Boomerang Bay water park. Stop by the City Building to purchase your tickets and parking passes.

As this newsletter arrives at your home or business, beautification of the median strip on Turkeyfoot Road from Mall Road to the I-275 East ramp will be underway. There will be temporary lane shut downs as the work is in progress, however we hope you will agree the end result will be worth the traffic.
In addition to the median strip project, our Public Works Committee has been busy driving each city street and has produced a list of repair projects that will be completed throughout the next year. Curbs, gutters, catch basins, and regular street repairs will be done throughout the summer and autumn months while an extension will be built onto the short lane turning onto Thomas More Pkwy. from Turkeyfoot Rd. The extension will take the lane to the first entrance of Five Seasons. Construction is anticipated to begin early June.

At the May City Council meeting, council voted favorably to approve a resolution accepting the stage I and II plans for the reconstruction of the Crestview Hills Mall, now to be called Crestview Hills Town Center. Be sure to review page 4 for the project schedule. The new Center will have a mix of retail and dining opportunities. To date, Jarrod’s Jewelers and Max and Erma’s have turned in plans for building on the two remaining out lots facing Dixie Hwy. Jarrod’s will locate next to Panera Bread, while Max and Erma’s will build next to Carrabbas. As we hear of new tenants for the Center, it will be published in the newsletter and in a new page to be developed on our website.

I hope that all have a safe and fun summer season. Enjoy your vacation and join us for some, or all, of the recreation programs or special activities that the City is offering. v

Thank you.
