About the Committee
This committee advises on policy regarding residential and commercial development and construction, economic development and zoning issues. Typical issues include:
- Reviewing current and proposed zoning classifications and making recommendations for changes to manage desired level of economic development within city limits;
- Advising the Mayor and City Council on incentives for new businesses locating and/or expanding within the City; and
- Providing input on promoting the vitality of the community.
